Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez, a Cuban/American TV arbitrator for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and was raised in Cuba's Havana. She moved to Miami with her family around age 2 after moving from Havana. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. Presently, she is the host of the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", an Spanish language television program that was nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was also named the best Spanish-language program at 4pm, for important demonstrations. Polo was born on April 11th, 1959 in Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Science. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years. She received the PhD from the University of Miami, and after that, she practiced law for the next twenty many years within Miami. Polo made her debut appearance for the very first time in Telemundo Sala de Parejas in 2001. Other court shows also offered her advice on legal matters. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958 she published the novel Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain for the United States in 1960. Polo is the breast cancer survivor regularly raises funds for the cause and speaks at events. She has advocated for LGBT rights throughout her career. She has a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, and she is an Florida Bar Member.
